Museums Capital Projects

Single donations of $100 or more automatically enroll you in a one-year Friends' Family Level membership.

Already a member? Donating $100 or more will elevate you to Family level and extend your renewal date by 12 months.

Upon reaching your membership expiration date, you will be invited to renew at a convenient membership level and pay its corresponding dues.

Your donation in any amount will be reserved for the project you choose.

Should the project you choose be terminated,  funds will be reallocated by the Friends' Board to other capital projects. Similarly, the Board reserves the right to reallocate funds to other projects should donations exceed the specified project's requirement.

Centennial Village Railroad Depot Transformation

Agricultural Heritage Center

Starting in 2023, the City of Greeley Museums are undertaking a major Capital Campaign, raising funds for a new Agricultural Center.

The Friends have already committed to matching $40,000 in donations towards the Capital Campaign.

A 2023 Feasibility Study,  will provide a full project vision and a more accurate idea of funds needed.

Presently general project estimates range from $2-5 million dollars.  Additional Friends support will certainly be needed.

CV Railroad Depot Transformation

The City of Greeley Museums are in the process of transferring visitor service operations at Centennial Village Museum to the Union Pacific Railroad Depot. Staff expect a three-phase project, with city funds addressing phase one improvements (ADA needs) and phase two (critical infrastructure) changes to make the space a proper visitor orientation area. Additional funding will likely be needed to support phase three, the transformation of an apartment living space into a functional exhibit, resale storage, and office area. More details will be provided as they become available.
